ACE

About ACE

This exceptionally sweet, handsome gentleman is named Ace. Unfortunately, Ace’s previous owner didn’t think to take him with them when they moved into a new apartment, and relinquished him to our shelter on 1/3. Despite this potentially traumatizing turn of events, Ace has been nothing but an angel. He’s calm and gentle, and performs a perfect “sit” and “stay” when asked. Will you give this darling back his forever home? He’ll give you all of himself in return. Ace’s about 3 years old and a healthy 68lbs. He’s up-to-date on his vaccines and will be neutered and micro-chipped at the shelter soon. Unfortunately, due to his owner’s irresponsibility, Ace has tested positive for heartworms. The good news is that this is a highly treatable, noncontagious disease – ask our staff and your vet about treatment options! Ace will be patiently waiting to meet you in kennel 810, ID# 641774. Please note, all of the pet listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers, not shelter staff. If this pet came in as lost (not an owner surrender), we don’t know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER; names are oftentimes made up by volunteers. This pet and many others are available for adoption from the Cobb County Animal Shelter 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008; call (770) 499-4136 for more information. Shelter hours are: Tues. – Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. by appointment only until further notice. Closed on Mondays & Holidays.
