Take a look at Peaches. Who doesn’t like a sweet peach? Peaches is a 5-year-old female Boston terrier. She recently retired from making money for humans her whole and is learning how to be a dog and that it’s okay not to be fearful all the time. Peaches loves treats, car rides and sleeping in bed … with you. She is still learning to accept gentle pets and cuddling and will come to you often for a little bit of loving. She does well with small dogs, doesn’t pay attention to the cat, and stays away from large dogs. Peaches will need a secure fenced yard because she needs a lot more work walking with a leash. She needs someone who’s home the majority of the time to teach her that being a part of a family is pretty amazing. Because of her anxiety, she will not do well with a family with small children. Loud noises make her nervous. Peaches is really a sweet baby. She just needs someone to be patient, calm and help her build up her self-confidence.
