Lil Bear is fostered in Beloit, WI. Please meet the handsome Lil Bear. He is a 5-year-old mini Aussie AKA Mini American Shepherd weighing approximately 15 pounds ad a total bundle of love. Lil Bear is housebroken and has excellent house manners. Little Bear likes other dogs, but would do best with … more submissive friends as he has a tendency to be the mothering type. Of course, treats will always make the greeting warmer. Lil Bear prefers a harness over a collar and he would prefer to just follow you around instead of being leashed. On occasion, he has a tendency to wander, so for his own safety, a leash or a long lead is his friend. He also would be an ideal candidate for a physical fence. Lil Bear knows basic commands like “sit” and “stay”. He will also tell you that he has to go potty first with a gentle paw and then by spinning at the door. The speed and number of rotations he spins will tell you how bad he needs to go! (Two for let’s play; four+ for now!) This little guy is all loves and big cuddles. Lil Bear is good about being crated but he would prefer to sleep in the comfort of your bed – up top for pets and a good night snuggle, then down to the foot of the bed for snoozing. If you work from home, Lil Bear will happily walk across your Zoom screen just like a cat and lay on your desk. Your co-workers will get a kick out of his overabundance of cuteness. Lil Bear is neutered, micro-chipped, up-to-date on all vaccinations and also receiving monthly prevention for fleas, ticks and heartworms.
