Fern is available for adoption. She is a Pittie Mix, 2 years old and weighs 45 pounds. She is playful, affectionate, independent spirit, attentive, smart and energetic, but not frenetic. She is people friendly (kids 13 years old because she can be nippy when over-excited). She needs fenced-in … backyard. She is very desirable, is working on potty training and is crate trained. Adopter must have experience with Pitties. “Hi everyone, I’m Fern, owner of the tail that never stops wagging. I was initially picked up as a stray by Chicago Animal Care and Control, and then came to care. I’m a quick learner and will blossom in a home with firm boundaries and clear expectations. I adore human companionship and usually walk on a loose leash but do pull to meet people along the way and can get over-excited when I see other dogs.
