Say hello to Deacon! Deacon is a survivor!! We rescued this boy after he was picked up in horrific condition. After the vets were able to get in and clean out the wound, their suspicion is the injury was caused with a large knife or machete like object, as it was an absolutely clean cut that he had … likely been dealing with for weeks before we rescued him. There is no telling what kind of horror this boy has endured, but he is safe now and 100% healed!! He is doing great with no evidence of his horrible injury except some missing fur on his side. Deacon is the sweetest little guy. He’s got such a precious disposition and just wants to be loved. He’s a young boy, maybe 2-3 years old. He’s a pretty petite boy, only about 50lbs. He loves to play but is not overly hyper. He would be a great addition to a loving home. Please consider fostering or adopting this precious boy who has endured so much in his life in such a short time.
