About Coal
Coal is a 1-year-old male lab mix who came to us as a stray. Poor guy was seen on a local property for multiple days but was too afraid to seek human help. One of our ACOs humanely trapped Coal and brought him to safety at HCAS. Coal weighs 42 pounds and is housebroken. We think he would probably … do well with another dog although a meet and greet with any existing dogs in a potential new home will be required to ensure a good fit. Coal is still a little bit of a scared of cat in new situations, but he does warm up quickly to humans and wants affection (and treats!) Because of his past, Coal would likely benefit from a fenced in yard to ensure his safety outside as he adjusts to a new home.
