Yorko

Yorko is a loveable, feisty and loyal Yorkshire Terrier & Miniature Schnauzer Mix. He is looking for a quiet, patient home that can give him patience and stability. Yorko lives with several other dogs both big and small and does well with all of them. He also regularly goes to the dog park and … enjoys meeting new friends. Unfortunately, Yorko can be scared when first meeting new people, and sometimes can be startled even with people he knows. Yorko is currently in training to help him rebuild trust with people, and will need a home that is committed to continuing this training. He is eligible for continued private or group training to help ensure his success in an adoptive home. Because Yorko can be startled easily, we do not currently recommend any young children in his forever home. Yorko favorite activities are playing with other dogs or hanging out on the couch. He is a couch potato who appreciates a walk every now and then. He does not care for most toys, however he appreciates a nice soft pillow to lay on. Yorko is neutered, micro-chipped and vaccinated.
