WILLOW

About WILLOW

Willow is a yorkie girl around 10 lbs and 6 years old. Unfortunately, her human’s circumstances have drastically changed and her family can not take care of her so she was surrendered to us. Willow has suffered with anxiety due to to the unsettling circumstances in her life. She has moved 2 times in the last 6 months, and is not adjusting to her human’s new apartment living and being left alone for hours. Willow needs a calm, steady adopter, someone who can be with her most of the day, and where she has access to a back yard as that is what she was used to. Willow loves playing fetch. She’s not that great at retrieving, but loves the chase. She loves to go for walks and play in the grass, especially long grass. She loves the sun, and will lay on any warm surface when she gets the opportunity. If you love singing Willow loves to listen and she’ll close her eyes and take it all in. She loves being held, and is used to a lot of kisses and hugs. She’s a very kind, gentle loving little dog with a sweet in temperament and loves to be loved ! Willow needs to sleep with her humans, but also enjoys her feather pillow and cozy blankets. When she gets cold or stressed she likes crawling under the covers and sleeping by your knees and licks your ankle until she falls asleep. She definitely loves her creature comforts. She likes to be held in your arms while on her back, like a baby and soaks in all the attention whenever she can. Willow is all set for summer with her new haircut and is ready to go exploring as she loves car rides! Willow is currently eating Hills diet gastrointestinal health kibble. She gets 1 cup of that a day with chicken sprinkled on the top. She also likes True Leaf dog treats. Willow is sensitive to flea medication so she needs to continue with an all natural flea treatment such as neem leaf and arrowroot powder.
