About Willis – courtesy post

Willis is a 6-year-old Mastiff/APBT rescue mix. This 65-pound stud muffin loves kids and people! He is a social guy and is often referred to as the Mayor. Everyone knows and loves Willis! Sadly, his family is faced with rehoming Willis. Please read more about Willis and share if you know of an amazing family looking for an amazing dog! He loves to snuggle, especially under a fuzzy blanket. He is a couch potato most of the day, although he loves to sunbathe on the deck. He enjoys go for rides, but gets a little anxious. He loves a good snack and really just wants to be loved. We suggest he live as an only dog because he is selective with other dogs and he must live in a cat/rabbit/small critter-free environment. He is used to a fenced-in yard and has the freedom to go in and out of a doggy door. He is house and crate trained. He will walk on a leash but tends to pull, so being the strong dog that he is – he will require a strong handler. So why does he need a new home? Unfortunately Willis and his brother are not getting along, so his family (regretfully so) must re-home him. It is a heartbreaking but necessary decision for his happiness. Willis is neutered, micro-chipped and up to date on all of his vaccinations. He is kept on a monthly heartworm preventative and has been well cared for. This handsome boy will make someone a great companion! Fetching Hope Rescue is helping Willis’ family rehome him. He is currently in a private home.
