Take a look at Wally! Wally joined rescue after his owner passes away and the family wanted him put down because no one wanted to continue his care. Turns out the vet staff loved Wally and his sweet demeanor that they reached out to us so he can find a new home and spend the rest of his time of … retirement being spoiled. Wally’s favorite things include (but are not limited to): Cuddling with someone on the couch while you binge watch your TV shows; Going for walks because he is very inquisitive about the outdoors; A good ole game of tug of war -Playing with any new toy he gets Wally has made friends with everyone he meets including dogs but we are unsure how he would do with kitties. He knows basic commands such as “Sit”, “Down”, “Shake”, and “Come”. Overall, he is a well behaved boy and anyone would be lucky to have him in their home. We will admit, he came into rescue quite obese and we are working on getting him more active to slender down so that, just like with people, is a long road we all know.
