“Hello! My name is Villisca. I’m 6-8 years old and weigh about 15 pounds. I look most like a Schnauzer Mix.” Villisca is a lovely Schnauzer mix with plenty of energy who has learned much in her 6-8 years of life. She has figured out that being a valuable family member to a loving & caring family is … all she wants in this next chapter of her life. She has plenty of affection she wants to shower you with. Typical of her breed, Villisca is particularly good with children, as she’s extremely playful and tolerant. She will also make for an awesome watchdog, ready to alert anyone of an intruder who might threaten their home or family. Her size makes her small enough to adapt to apartment life while also being able to patrol a larger house with plenty of yard to romp around in. She will love playing with toys and chasing balls in the backyard with the kids, or playing with sibling dogs that are already part of the family. She loves being by her humans’ side, whether it’s a quiet, peaceful movie night or running errands in the car – she’s up for any family activity. She wants to be your loyal best friend who makes you feel as though you are the most important person in the world! Will you be the one to let her share all her love with you? I have started working on leash walking, crate training and house manners. I will most likely need continued help to perfect these. Now I am looking for my furever home. I can’t wait to meet you!” MatchDog includes the cost of spay or neutering in the adoption fee. We will provide you with a recommended low-cost spay/neuter clinic or program so that there will be no additional net out-of-pocket costs to you for the sterilization procedure. Villisca has been fully vetted, is up to date on all vaccinations and on preventatives for heartworm, flea, and tick. We cannot guarantee breed information. This gorgeous MatchDog is not yet in the state of N.J. and is currently being fostered/vetted and quarantined. This dog will be going on a three-day road trip arriving at us here in N.J. on August 12. Adoption fee $250 includes spay/neuter if applicable per above. If you see a pending notification on this dog, it means we have informed a lucky family that they were selected to attend a meet with our pup and potentially become their furever family. If for any reason this plan falls through, we will change the status back to available and select from the other fantastic applicants.
