Uno

About Uno

Uno was picked up by local animal control and wasn’t reclaimed by his previous owners. So, he’s looking for a forever family! He has been great with other dogs. He plays very well with them and can live with/coexist with them just fine. We do feed him separately, but that’s generally an easy-to-manage thing. He’s not in a foster home, so we don’t know if he’s housetrained at all. That will be something his new family will possibly need to work on. He’s not been around cats that we know of, so we won’t be adopting him into a home with cats. Uno does well on a leash. He is approximately a year old (best guess based on his teeth) and is about 50 pounds. Uno appears to be what we call a West Texas Brown. Meaning…he’s a solid tan/brown dog with no defining breed characteristics who is likely 8-9 breeds. Regardless, he’s full of personality and is 100% lovable! Uno’s adoption fee is $600 which includes his neuter, current vaccinations (rabies, 2 parvo/distemper boosters, bordatella), negative heartworm test, registered microchip, negative fecal, health certificate, and transport costs. He is available through Paw Pals of Hale Center, a partner rescue of Project Freedom Ride. We are located in the Texas Panhandle. He is located here in Texas with our rescue. He would be transported on one of the PFR transports to either Meridian ID, SLC, UT, Seattle, WA, Mt Vernon, WA, Kennewick, WA, Portland, OR, Buffalo/Syracuse/Newburgh/Castleton on Hudson, NY, Philadelphia, PA, Cleveland, OH, Springfield or Chicago, IL, Halethorpe, MD, Lansing, MI, Madison, WI, Minneapolis, MN, Des Moines, IA, Kansas City, MO, Indianapolis, IN, Springfield/Richmond, VA or Bedminster, NJ. For more information on how a Direct Adoption with Project Freedom Ride works or to meet this guy via video call, email [email protected]. As a Paw Pals of Hale Center direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet would take place on video call. The adoption application and fee would be finalized prior to transport. Out-of-town pets are cared for by non-local organizations who can make arrangements for the pet to be transported to your area.
