Teddy

Teddy is an 8-year-old Cockapoo boy. He has a sweet disposition and loves walking when he’s not sleeping. Teddy was dropped off and abandoned in a Houston neighborhood. After roaming the streets for 3 days, one of the residents took him in. They cleaned Teddy up and asked Twilight Tails to find his … forever home. This kind finder also took Teddy to the vet, got him vaccinated and treated. The vet said that overall Teddy is healthy for his age and will show improvement in his wellbeing with loving care. He has an ulcer on his left eye which is curable with the eye ointment currently being applied 3x daily. Teddy also has a light case of cataracts, but he still produces good tears so he doesn’t have dry eye. His test results for heartworms and digestive parasites were all negative. Teddy is very calm around other dogs and is non-reactive. He would do well with a single person or adults in the home. He doesn’t bark and only growls if you take away his bone. If you’re looking for a super laid-back companion who loves a good belly rub but doesn’t want to run or jump on the furniture, Teddy is definitely the dog for you! Teddy will be neutered and micro-chipped and is up to date on his vaccinations. He is being fostered in Houston, TX, but we can have him brought to IL on rescue transport which brings dogs up twice a month to either Channahon or Willowbrook. Teddy’s adoption fee is $325 plus $220 for transport to IL and $30 for a health certificate.
