Teddy

Take a look at Teddy! This precious boy came to Brave after his aging owner could no longer take care of him. Teddy is in the prime of his life and he’s looking for a committed owner who will give him all the things a dog deserves: love, attention, play, and training! Teddy loves to run and play, … so a fenced yard where he can be a goofball is ideal. He is currently fostered with dogs and while he gets along with them, we feel Teddy would do best as an only pet. He is dog-selective. He has not been fostered with cats and kids can be a bit overwhelming for him, so a home without young children is required. Teddy has some anxiety that manifests in destructive kennel behavior and being on edge. Since starting his (affordable) anxiety medication, he is a completely different dog! He rests comfortably in his kennel and is clearly much more happy and relaxed (if it were up to Teddy, you’d still be home all of the time). He’s a smart and affectionate little dog who will make an amazing companion for someone willing to work through his quirks. The adoption fee is $300 which helps cover the cost of vetting procedures. Adoptable pets will have received age-appropriate vaccines and dewormings, a microchip, heartworm test (if applicable) and a spay/neuter.
