This adorable girl brightens up any room she’s in. Sugar had a tough past before coming to us and her foster family is working on … building up her confidence. Sugar can sometimes be fearful and expresses herself through a short growl or separation anxiety. She is a very sweet dog who simply needs a confident, patient family to establish boundaries and help Sugar grow into the happy dog we know she is. We have Sugar set up for success and are able to provide guidance to her adopter on how to continue the progress we have made with her. Sugar will do best with a family where someone is home for most of the day and with no children under 12. She can also be dog selective so we recommend her being the only dog in the home or with another calm dog and a family committed to slow introductions. Sugar is happiest when she is able to chill out and relax with her humans while watching Netflix (who isn’t, right?). She also loves going on walks and smelling all the things!
