Introducing Scrappy! He is a 1-year-old, 37-pound Terrier mix, looking for his forever family. This happy-go-lucky, energetic boy is bound to win over your heart from the moment you meet him. He loves to play fetch, run around outside and he’ll even be your hiking buddy to burn off some energy! … Scrappy is learning to walk on the leash (a work in progress) but he’ll be a pro at it in no time. When he isn’t running around chasing his toys in the yard, you’ll find him sitting next to you nestling his head on your leg, begging for some head scratches and belly rubs. He is quite the attention hog and we love it! He would do best in a home with another dog that matches his high energy. Unfortunately, he has not realized that cats can be friends too so for the time being, we recommend that his forever home does not have cats. This handsome boy was abandoned in an apartment in Puerto Rico and when he was found, he was taken to our sister shelter for some much needed TLC. He is now ready to make his mark on the East Coast and cannot wait to show his new family how much love he has to give. Inquire about him today!
