About Sapphire
Sapphire was saved from euthanasia at a rural NC shelter and has been in temporary foster care. She needs to find a home of her own where she can be comfortable and bond with a family. Sapphire can be anxious at times and she will tend to guard her “person”. So she will attach to one person and can … nip when others approach. We are seeking an experienced dog person or owner that will not have small children in the home. She also has not been great with other pets in the home. She did fine at first, but then began to snip at them on occasion. We believe she has anxiety and will need someone who is attentive and patient with her. Sapphire walks well on leash and has good house manners. She is current on vaccinations and will be spayed by the rescue prior to adoption.
