Salsa adores being in the company of her human and will shower you with gentle kisses. With her lower energy levels, she’s a perfect fit for a crate and is … well-behaved in a car and on a leash. Salsa has had a tough past, having been pulled from the euthanasia list after experiencing mistreatment. Despite it all, her love for humans remains unwavering—they’re her absolute favorite! Salsa would thrive as the sole pet in the household, as she prefers human companionship over four-legged friends. While she generally gets along with most dogs, she would appreciate a calm and mellow canine companion, perhaps a senior or low-energy dog. Weighing around 40 pounds, Salsa falls on the smaller side for a lab mix. At approximately six years old, she currently calls Houston, Texas her home, but transport to many states can be arranged with a fee.
