Roxie is a 1.5-year-old (Spay appt Dec 19th), 65 lb female Mixed breed Meet Roxie! This beautiful girl came all the way from Texas to find her forever home! Never having lived in a house before Roxie was very overwhelmed and needed a crate as her safe place for a couple days but now she is getting … used to living Indoors and decided she loves comfy dog beds, warm blankets and Loves to be snuggled and pampered with lots of belly rubs! She still likes to go in her crate as her safe space from time to time since she is still adjusting. She is crate trained and stays in there while her foster parents aren’t home and will sleep in her crate at night without a peep as long as she can see you and know shes not alone. She always likes to be in the same room as you! She is out of the Puppy phase in her life but still loves to play chase in the backyard with her foster sisters and has started learning how to play with toys. She is low to medium energy, she naps most of the time while foster mom works from home but likes to run in the backyard on breaks, and has had no accidents so far in her foster home! She is good with other dogs especially ones that are down to play! Roxie is friendly with people including kids. Overall a really great dog looking for someone to give her some patience and tons of love. It takes her a little bit to warm up to new people but when she does she is very loving. She deserves the best foster family’s favorite things about Roxie are her beautiful gold eyes, her little bottom lip that looks like she’s pouting, but most of all her sweet personality.
