Rogan

Rogan is looking for a loving family. He is currently being lovingly fostered in Coquitlam, BC. Rogan is a neutered Jindo mix boy, about 3 years old, 22 kg. He is overall a gentle-spirited dog who generally wants to please people as long as they are introduced cautiously. He needs more practice … getting along well with cats and dogs, especially large breeds. His energy level is average so he knows how to be both active outside and relax at home. He is capable of staying home alone more than 8 hours and he only destroys paper/towel-like materials only. He sometimes refuses to eat when he thinks he is going to be home alone. He learns pretty quickly since he has a personality to please certain people. He is leash-trained, potty-trained, food-trained, and crate-trained, although he is better without the crate because of territorial issues. No separation anxiety. Extra info from his foster: I noticed only at the beginning that Rogan showed his teeth to warn me when I tried touching his paws/ears to do nail trims and ear cleaning. Once I showed him my boundary saying “No” when he showed any teeth to me, he didn’t bother at all after. He gets very nervous with bathing but it’s getting better and better. He doesn’t mind the sound of the hairdryer. He also gets very nervous and cowers to hide under the table when he hears a dominant tone. Will you welcome this sweet boy into your family?
