Take a look at Rita! This 9-year-old super sweetie is looking for her forever family! She came to us almost hairless due to a life of neglect. After many weeks of special care and love, she’s doing fabulous and looking forward to her future! Her foster mom says: “She is so laid back, I think she’d … be fine in most homes. She hasn’t been around kids but hasn’t shown a ton of interest in other dogs, she likes to keep mostly to herself. She goes potty outside every few hours. I have pads out just in case, but she goes outside. She sleeps through the night perfectly as long as she has a blanket to burrow in! She is pretty good on a leash, you just have to watch out for food/trash on the sidewalk, she loves junk food. She hasn’t been too interested in toys. She has been liking wet food more than dry. She is very laid back and chill. She spends most of the day napping but goes on frequent walks (very much at her own pace, she’s a bit of a slow poke!) Rita does have some hair loss and still gets weekly medicated baths. She only barks when she is watching you prepare her food (it’s very cute). She is so chill and adjusted to my apartment within hours. She’s so kind and would love a patient loving home. Anyone would be lucky to adopt Rita!” Come and take this adorable girl home!
