Ralphie

Adoptable in: MA, RI, NH, CT, and VT. Ralphie is good with dogs with proper intros. He is working on crate training and house training. Full of energy, Ralphie is a typical puppy who seems to love other dogs but can be a little overzealous at times. At 55 pounds, he can be a lot to handle, … especially because he is still learning not to jump up in excitement. His optimal home would feature another dog to play with, plenty of room to run, and adopters who will keep working with him on his leash skills and behaviors. Because he was going through heartworm treatment, he has not been able to play with other dogs as much as he would like, and he seems to miss this. His preference is to be with others as he has exhibited some separation anxiety when left alone. Ralphie has not been formally tested with cats, but he watches them closely. In terms of kids, he loves everyone, but he has not been exposed to them and might be too much for small children. His potty training and crate training are progressing well, but he will need to continue working on it with his new family. This dog may have other interested adopters in line.
