Princess

Princess came from SC where she was found as a stray. She is about 3 years old and 30 lbs. We believe she is a Basenji mix. (Her tail isn’t curled in these photos but it usually does.) Princess is spayed, vaccinated, de-wormed, heartworm negative and micro-chipped. However, we are taking her to the … vet on the 18th to have a look at her skin as she has some small bald patches and is scratching. She has been very good with her foster siblings and her foster mom. Princess looks like she has had a few litters. She hasn’t been introduced to children yet, but she hasn’t shown any dominance or aggression and we think that she will be a great fit with kids. Basenjis don’t bark, have very high prey drives and can climb fences. If you plan on relying on a fence to contain her, the fence needs to be at least 6′ tall as Princess has already climbed over a 4′ tall baby gate without foot-holds inside the house.
