Pongo

Say hello to Pongo! This little girl was rescued from a high-kill shelter along with her mother. We do not know what breed she is except that she is just a beautiful mix! Based on her mom’s size (we have no idea who the daddy is) we estimate Pongo will be a medium-sized girl when she reaches … adulthood. She is current on vaccinations and has been wormed and micro-chipped. She will be spayed prior to adoption. We offer a foster to adopt for anyone located in the Memphis area who is approved for adoption. That means you can foster (we provide all the pup’s needs) until Pongo is spayed and then you can officially adopt! People get confused with this option and think you must live in the Memphis area to adopt: NO. Due to our vet locations, you must live in the Memphis area to foster. We do adopt out of the area. Pongo does need to be in a home with at least one other dog due to so many factors, she will learn from the other dog, be less likely to get separation anxiety, be less likely to get into puppy trouble due to boredom, and she will continue to retain her canine social skills. Pongo also would do best in a home with a fenced yard because this little girl loves to run and play outside. Pongo is in Memphis!
