Check out Percy, the adorable and petite little Pittie who will steal your heart! Percy is a total cutie who absolutely loves people and enjoys playing fetch. He gets along great with other dogs and has already mastered the command to sit. But Percy’s real talent lies in cuddling—he’ll be the best … cuddler you’ve ever met! Currently living in a loving foster home, Percy is learning a healthy routine that includes crate training and going outside to potty. When given the freedom to roam, he chooses to stick by your side, being the loyal little best friend that he is. He adores people and craves their company, and he’s such a good boy that he doesn’t bark when in his crate and sleeps silently through the night. Percy is a smart pup who knows how to fetch and respond to basic commands like sit, down, and no. He truly wants to be a good boy and is eager to please. He just needs a patient person who will show him that he’ll never be left alone again and that he has the opportunity to enjoy a lifetime of cuddles. Loyalty is Percy’s middle name—he will follow you wherever you go. Despite having moved foster homes a few times, he’s proven to be resilient and adaptable to new environments and people. While he may not engage in play with other dogs, he finds comfort in their presence and will happily cuddle up with them given the chance. Percy is making great progress with his potty training and is learning to go outside like any other puppy. Although he’s missing some hair on his back, it’s growing back nicely with a nutritious diet. He came to us malnourished, but he’s gaining weight quickly and looking healthier each day. Percy will be fully vetted before going to his forever home. While we can’t make any guarantees about his breed or exact weight, we estimate he’s around six months old and may end up weighing around 35 pounds. It’s hard to predict with certainty, but we can tell you he is one special pup. We have so much love for Percy, and we can’t wait for someone to choose him as their own.
