Hey, world. This is Miss Penelope! She is a 1 in a half year-old petite little thing weighing in at 50 lbs. We are doing our best to guess what breed she is and so far we have come up with Pittie princess, Belgian Shepard, and perhaps some Heeler with a little bit of kangaroo… hahaha. Penelope … was roaming the streets of NC when she was picked up by a good Samaritan. No one claimed her so we had her transported here to VA Beach. When she arrived she was extremely shut down and showed signs of abuse. She has been in a loving foster home for a few weeks and has blossomed into such a fun and loving pup. She loves other dogs and will do best with a 4 legged sibling. She is great with kids and even cats. She would love an active family with a fenced-in yard. She is learning what normal things are like daily walks which are her favorite and going for rides in the car. She will need a patient family as she is still overwhelmed by some things but she is so smart and a quick learner.
