About Patience
Patience is a super sweet and amazing dog. She loves attention and always has a smile on her face. Sadly, she tested positive for heartworms when she came to us as a stray. Her stray hold is up and we are now looking for a foster to adopt candidate for her. She would love to be in a home while we … are treating her for heartworms. Our staff has said she is so well behaved and that she is perfect. At the Humane Society of Southwest Missouri, our goal is to match potential adopters with a pet that is best suited to their home, interests, and lifestyle. All of our animals are up to date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, given flea/tick prevention, and dewormer. Our adoption fees cover the cost of any vet care needed. Anyone is welcome to visit our shelter during our adoption hours of Monday-Saturday, 12-6pm, or Sunday from 12-5pm, no appointment needed.
