Ozzy

Ozzy is looking for a home! He is a 10-month-old Mexican special mixed breed. Our guess is Basenji x Lab. Ozzy currently weighs about 30 lbs, and may grow to 35lbs. He’s the perfect size! Despite his young age, Ozzy was rescued on the street and hungry. A kind volunteer saw him running to get … across a very busy road and he was hit and very scared. Thankfully there was no serious damage / broken bones, and he’s a healthy boy. He’s no longer hungry and he loves people, and is playful with dogs (in a puppy way). Ozzy is young and energetic, and when he’s stressed it comes out as energy. His foster is teaching him to calm on his own instead of jumping and mouthing (he’s young and probably first time living in a home). Ozzy is house trained (though occasionally may have an accident). He is super smart and food motivated – he learns fast and would like a home that can engage his mind and his body. He has been ok alone for short periods. He is still young and likes to chew. Ozzy is curious about cats and when tested he did not chase or react. He would need additional testing / practise but he is at the moment considered a candidate for a home with cats. Ozzy’s forehead wrinkles and gorgeous brown eyes can do nothing but tug at your heart. There’s just no way not to fall for this gorgeous young boy. Ozzy is neutered, vaccinated, and ready for love. He is in a foster home in Vancouver and would love a home with a yard. He likes to play with young dogs and has an intense play style. Email [email protected] for an application. Out-of-town pets are cared for by non-local organizations who can make arrangements for the pet to be transported to your area.
