This sweet 5-year-old, 28lb gal is ready for a loving, active home where she can continue to learn to trust a gentle hand again. Her personality is starting to blossom. Oreo has some resource guarding issues so would do best in a home as an only dog and with no small children. Oreo, aka Cookie, … loves to snuggle and has a very happy-go-lucky personality. She has had some issues with other dogs in the past but is looking for a clean start with a new family. Oreo promises she will always be happy to see you, will always warm your lap and your heart, and will always chase the squirrels out of your yard. If the animal is under the age of 3 years old or has health issues, a vet reference is required which means you must own a pet or have owned a pet in your name. Adoption fee of $290 covers all vetting including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip heartworm test and treatment if needed and any other medical that may be required while in rescue. We only do adoptions on Saturday and not all animals are able to attend so if you would like to see a specific animal please let us know so that we can make arrangements for it to be present at the event. Please do not ask us to reduce adoption fees since all fees help us to cover medical expenses for all of our animals, some of which can be very expensive.
