About Onyx
Onyx was brought in when her owner took her to the police station and told them he didn’t want her anymore. She’s an amazing dog who is so worthy of love! She loves dogs, cats, and children! Onyx attends doggy daycare every day at our local facility and she is very loved there! Onyx is currently in … a foster home where she is thriving. She is perfect in every way but unfortunately has extreme kennel anxiety and will self-harm if left in one. This includes any size kennel and unfortunately medicine does not help. We understand that this may be a dealbreaker for most but when you meet Onyx you will realize she is well worth working around that crutch. She is working with her foster family and a trainer on her kennel anxiety and is making baby steps! Onyx’s ideal home would be one that is kennel free or at least one that is extremely limited. Her fosters report that she does extremely well when left to free roam but sometimes will dig through the trash….can we blame that cute face?
