Meet Olive Meet Olive! It is Mama Olive’s turn to find her forever home! Mama Olive was found on the streets of Mexico where she learned how to survive. She is now learning to live in a home with humans. She was a wonderful mama to her 10 puppies and thankfully she will not have to do that again. … Olive is a beautiful pitty mix who is approximately 2 years old. She is a tiny girl and only weighs 40 lbs. It takes her a while to warm up but once you gain her trust she is your best friend. She will clearly let you know when she is scared or uncertain by barking. She has been living with an older teen, and two adults, (Plus other dogs) but would prefer a human of her own that she can trust/bond with and who has plenty of time each day to spend with her. Olive loves playing fetch, chasing the water spraying out of the hose, and any and all toys. (She will entertain herself and chew on them for hours) She cannot live with cats (I assume that also would apply to chickens) Although she loves other dogs she would do best as the only dog and truly deserves a family of her own that she doesn’t have to share. Olive can live with respectful teens and adults but younger children scare her a little. She is learning her manners and is quick to learn. She has never been on a leash, so there will be a bit of work needed with leash training. Once she has built that trust She is quite the cuddly girl. She takes food/treats gently from your hand. She deserves a forever home and human all to herself. Rescued Hearts will pay for positive reward training classes to help Olive and her family have the best start. Interested in meeting Olive?
