Oh Darling !

Darling and her siblings were born here at UCC on 4/3/23. Their mother Jasmin was rescued from abandonment in Louisiana, we did not know Jasmin was pregnant when she arrived to NY. After 2 weeks with us, she quickly swelled up and had 7 babies. Unfortunately Jasmin also has heartworm disease, and … was not strong enough to nurse her babies. I had the honor and privilege of bottle feeding these 7 pups from 3 days old till they were weaned at 5 weeks. Jasmie continues to improve and is in current on treatment. The pups are now 8 weeks old and ready for homes of their own. Darling is 8 weeks old and weighs 9 lbs, she is sweet and petite. She likes to play with other dogs, and can get rowdy with her litter mates. Otherwise she’s a pretty laid back puppy content to snuggle up with you. She loves to give kisses. She has the same warm, glazed over, happy, empty thoughts gaze as her momma lol. She has not yet met the cat, but with puppies this age it is pretty clear who is in charge when establishing those relationships. Darling is a gentle puppy, and would do best in a home with gentle respectful children of any age. Puppies have 2 dappv vaccines, they must return to UCC for core vaccine completion (3 shots over 5 weeks), and spay and neuter when of age, which is included in the adoption fee. UCC offers discounted after adoption support for our adopted alumni such as: Dog boarding, Day Care and Lower cost weekly wellness and Vaccine Clinic!!
