Nova (Sweet, Petite Angel!)

Home Dog Adoption Nova (Sweet, Petite Angel!)

About Nova (Sweet, Petite Angel!)

Nova is a two-year-old, beautiful, brindle Shepherd with the sweetest, most loving temperament! She weighs 49 pounds and has a clean bill of health. She is spayed, current on all vaccines, and micro-chipped. Before arriving at The Fuzzy Pet Foundation, Nova suffered much sadness and disappointment at the hands of her former owners. First, a couple had surrendered Nova as a tiny pup to an animal shelter in rural Tennessee. They claimed they no longer wanted a puppy after giving birth to a baby. A young man then adopted Nova from the shelter and moved with her to California. However, he soon realized he did not have the time or resources to care for a dog properly. He would crate Nova all day and hardly ever had time to play with her or take her on walks. Nova is now thriving in foster care, and we are determined to place her in a responsible, loving home in California. She is incredibly sweet and gets along well with almost every dog she meets. She enjoys playing fetch! When greeting other humans, Nova hugs, kisses, and rolls on her side and back for belly rubs. Nova is a star patient at our vet’s office because of her friendly personality! An ideal adopter is someone who is nurturing and active. Nova is a cuddly couch potato inside the house but enjoys long walks outside with her favorite humans. She is incredibly loyal and listens well to basic commands. Nova is potty-trained and knows how to sit on command.
