Nova

About Nova

Nova needs to go to a home without cats. Nova has strong prey drive when it comes to cats in her foster home. She would do best in a home with no small children due to some sensitivity with handling invasively. She has also shown some mild resource guarding. Notes from the Foster Parent: Nova is a low key, couch potato type gal. She will test out any couch in the house, especially if it comes with a person’s lap. She was disappointed when told she wasn’t sleeping with us in the bed at night, but handled it well when shown the soft comforter on the floor. She loves people and gets very excited when company arrives, she just needs a low key introduction to reduce jumpy behavior. She tolerates other dogs but she is not necessarily a dog lover, preferring to watch, not join in or snuggle with them. She goes in the crate when she wants some alone time or when we leave the house. She can be trusted alone in the house, it just keeps her comfortable when other dogs are roaming free in the house. She seems to really take to people with low voices. History of living successfully with: She has been exposed to cat and dogs. Notes say she only watches them.
