About Nomad
Nomad is a 12-year-old, 54-lb senior gal who was abandoned by her family at an over-capacity shelter in Texas. She was so scared and confused at the shelter, but is getting better in foster care! Her foster says: “She is the sweetest, most loving girl. She doesn’t get on furniture, sleeps all night … in her bed, is non-destructive when left out (of the crate), dog-friendly, and does NOT resource-guard. She’s insanely treat and food-motivated. She knows “sit”, learning “wait” and “take it”, and walks well on leash. Carrots are one of her favorite treats! Nomad is arriving in NYC on 11/18/23. She’s available for adoption anywhere in the US as long as the adopter is willing to travel to meet/adopt her.
