Nirry

About Nirry

“Howdy! My name is Nirry, I am a mixed breed and was lucky to be saved by Saving Hope Rescue from Fort Worth Animal Care & Control’s last call list. My foster parents picked me up from shelter in June, where they were told I was about 5 months old. I was surrendered to the shelter after my owner removed my floppy ears and I’m looking for someone to love me despite of how silly I look, and can catch me up on all the love I’ve missed out on since I’ve entered this world. Everyone that meets me instantly falls in love with me. I love to snuggle up with everyone and give puppy kisses. I’ll soak up all the love I can get and will make sure to take long naps on the couch with you. My current foster siblings are two hairy huskies. Even though my older foster brother is a little grumpy, I still made him snuggle and play with me, he secretly loved it I’m sure. I also have a foster sister that wanted to play with me a lot. Luckily, we always had zoomies at the same time and caused havoc in the house and yard. I do well in the crate and my foster parents would consider me house and crate-trained. I respond to sit, lay down, and come, and I am working on my walking!” To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application. It doesn’t obligate you, but it is the first step. We don’t get to all of the inquiries but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue! Our dogs are fostered in Texas but available for adoption in the Pacific Northwest… with stops in – Lacey, WA, Tukwila, WA, and Portland, OR. These dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. Our out of state adoption fee is $550 for adults and $650 for puppies. This fee includes: age-appropriate vaccinations, up to date heart-worm and flea preventative, heart-worm test if over 6 months, insurance for 30 days, microchip with registration, health certificate, and transport costs. As a Saving Hope direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call. The adoption application and fee would be finalized prior to transport. Out-of-town pets are cared for by non-local organizations who can make arrangements for the pet to be transported to your area.
