Ned

About Ned

Look at our lovely little man, Ned! Ned is a little guy with a big heart! He is the happiest guy you’ll ever meet – and is always so excited to see you! Although he can be a little shy at first, once you have made friends his whole body will wiggle from side to side! Ned is a high-energy pup and can be extremely excitable and jumpy at times. He will need someone patient who is willing to work on his training, manners and calm behaviours. Lots of exercise and outdoor time would also be required. Ned can be a little bit unsure in new situations, but can usually be convinced with encouragement and cuddles. Hailing from the streets of Mexico, he can be unsure of unfamiliar dogs as well. A regular routine and long walks will help manage his high energy levels. Ned first made it to us all the way from Mexico, after his previous owner was no longer able to take care of him here in Canada. When Ned first arrived, he was adopted out to a family with older children. However, he became uncomfortable with too many people in the home and started displaying reactivity to the teenagers. Ned has a huge heart, but wants to save it all for one special person or couple in a quiet environment, where he can relax and feel secure without too many new faces entering his space often. Are you a quiet dog savvy individual who is willing to help this sweet guy through some of his stranger danger fears? Poor Ned has moved around a few times and wants a forever pawrent to retire him from shelter life. He will bond with you head over heels and beg for all the snuggles! If you think that this little guy could be the one for you, send in an application online or come and visit him in shelter Tuesday-Sunday 12pm-3pm. Ned has brown coat. He is 1 year old and weighs 15.8kg. Animal has been neutered.
