Nala

Nala is a very friendly girl. She loves to give licks when she wants attention. Nala is also very smart. She has learned not to get on the furniture (for the most part). She sleeps on a dog’s bed. She is house trained and will alert us if she needs to go outside. Nala loves: Treats, aka cookies, … aka yummies; pets and snuggles; toys: ropes, rings Kong ball Zoomies in the backyard with our dogs; wrestling and playing tug with our dogs. She also loves to eat and will inhale her food. A slow feeder bowl or food dispensing toys will be a good option at mealtimes. She will also happily finish the other dogs’ meals if she had the chance. Nala like most Labs is opportunistic. Counters need to be kept clear as she will take the opportunity to clear them for you. She also enjoys the opportunity to steal items that are left laying around. Nala is still an adolescent at around 18 months old so, supervision is necessary. Nala will bark if left in her crate. She could use a course in positive crate training to acclimate her to it. When she is let out of her crate she jumps all over, including on people and the other dogs. Nala did really well with my cousins.
