Myah

About Myah

This is Myah, and she is looking for her furever home! When I first got Myah she was covered in fleas and ticks, ears were completely infested – the vet said it was the worst she had ever seen, a UTI and bladder infection, fur matted and so dirty it took 4 full baths to finally see clear-er water. Her skin was so irritated/infected from fly bites and everything else she wouldn’t stop biting and scratching herself! She was such a mess, it was horrible! Fast forward more than a year later and Myah is the most perfect, beautiful, mountain dog you will ever see!!! She has completely healed and is in her prime! She is the biggest sweetheart and would make for a perfect family protector! She can get territorial, but you will never have to worry about anything getting passed this girl. She is can be too smart for her own good, so someone that can stay one step ahead of her will help! DNA test results proved she was a German Shepherd/ St. Bernard mix (tested closer to 70% for shepherd and 17% for St Bernard). Looking for a home with no other dogs, cats seem to be fine! There has been signs of food aggression, so something to keep in mind when feeding her and/or other animals together. She is around 4 years old, and is up to date on vaccines. After seeing who she is, I think it would be best for her to be on a big property or someone with a lot of energy! This girl loves to run and loves to go on adventures! She’s not scared of anything. After she gets some energy out, she will try to curl up on your lap even though she’s not a small lap dog! She loves the snow, even when it’s melted and she will try to find the last patch of snow to lay on. She deserves the world after what she has been through! She is great with kids and has motherly instincts you can see from the very moment you look into her sweet eyes. Her head is the softest around and she loves belly rubs. She knows when she makes a mistake and aims to please. Help us find her a place she can finally call home.
