Miller

About Miller

Miller arrived with his emaciated mom and 3 siblings at 4-5 weeks old from the valley in Texas, and is now 3 months old. He and his sweet little family have blossomed with nutrition, love, and vet care! Miller was the second to smallest of the litter, so his foster mom kept a watchful eye on him, but he has grown into a healthy and spunky puppy! Miller is inquisitive, sweet, loving, energetic, and intelligent. He has been having some tiffs with his brother as they figure out who is alpha, but otherwise he gets along well with his siblings and lives to romp and play with them. He also enjoys his foster siblings in his foster house – Miller is fostered with and compatible with 6 free range chickens, cavalier King Charles spaniels, and a large Rottweiler/cattle dog mix. He is around ducks and rabbits daily, but they socialize through a picket fence. Miller sleeps in a crate at night, enjoys naps after playing, is learning to sit for treats, and is working on potty training (but he has a little bladder and is young, so this is normal). He is a little love with a fun personality and a precious face! His mom is a pocket-sized mix (30lbs). Other than that, he is a perfect mutt with a little underbite! Miller’s ears are characters all on their own – they are so funny to watch! Miller is fostered in north Dallas. To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application. It doesn’t obligate you, but it is the first step. We don’t get to all of the inquiries but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue! Our dogs are fostered in Texas but available for adoption in the Pacific Northwest… with stops in – Lacey, WA, Tukwila, WA, and Portland, OR. These dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. Our out of state adoption fee is $550 for adults and $650 for puppies. This fee includes: age-appropriate vaccinations, up to date heart-worm and flea preventative, heart-worm test if over 6 months, insurance for 30 days, microchip with registration, health certificate, and transport costs. As a Saving Hope direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call. The adoption application and fee would be finalized prior to transport. Out-of-town pets are cared for by non-local organizations who can make arrangements for the pet to be transported to your area.
