Maverick (urgent! senior dog losing home)

Maverick is an older boy who has had a challenging journey. He was found in an overcrowded kill shelter in Tennessee, scared and emaciated. Thankfully, our rescue organization saved him and placed him in foster care. Unfortunately, his current foster family is facing a family emergency and can no … longer keep him, so we are urgently seeking a new home for Maverick. Maverick requires a calm and stress-free environment where he can spend his golden years in peace. He is a survivor and a sweetheart who craves love and affection. Maverick has been living with a variety of dogs in his foster home, but we believe he would do well with a gentle female dog as a companion. However, he is not suitable for a home with cats. At around 8 years old, Maverick now weighs a healthier 76 lbs. Life has been tough for this precious pup, and we are determined to find him a loving family and a forever home where he can finally enjoy the happiness and comfort he deserves.
