“Hi! My name is Maka. I’m a great Labrador Retriever & Pit Bull Terrier Mix boy looking for a new home! I am very obedient and calm. I’m really dog social, great with people, and love to please. I already know how to sit, stay, and lay down. I go to the bathroom in the outside yard, but I prefer to … do my business when on a walk. I do not jump up when it’s time to eat, but instead wait patiently until I’m told to eat. I do not hoard food and am a slow eater. While I do have my favorite foods, I will eat anything. I do protect the home and I will let you know when strangers arrive but will relax when you tell me it’s ok. Some of my favorite things to do are going for walks and lying in the sun. My foster sometimes works in the backyard, and I just hang out next to him. The transition from having a family to being a foster is a little tough and sometimes I just want to cuddle, but with a good home I know I will be okay.
