Our local animal shelter found a limping Maddy roaming the streets in the rain and asked for The … Fuzzy Pet Foundation’s (TFPF) assistance when her owner refused to reclaim her. Maddy was neglected – she had rotten napkins taped around her injured paw and was craving love. After weeks of Manuka honey dressings and bandage changes, Maddy’s paw is fully healed. She no longer limps on her leg. Our vets recently spayed Maddy and gave her a clean bill of health. Maddy is an affectionate girl who deserves a warm home filled with love. She enjoys daily walks and cuddling with our volunteers. She is intelligent, fun, and lively! In true Terrier form, Maddy barks at new sights and sounds, but she calms down in the presence of her caregivers. She loves belly rubs. She also likes to wrestle and play rough with other dogs but is never aggressive. An ideal adopter is one who is nurturing and active with experience raising one or more Terriers.
