Lulu

Say hello to Lulu! She is a senior Chinese Crested hairless dog, 13 years old and weighing about 12 lbs. She is a friendly never-met-a-stranger kind of gal, looking for a quiet home where she can be a treasured companion dog. She waltzed right into her foster home and made herself right at home … with other dogs, cats, and adult people. We think she’d do best in a home without toddlers or young children, just because they might be too loud and stimulating for her. A quiet, predictable routine with lots of lap time and couch time would be perfect for her. She is pretty low maintenance, with her one demand being she’d like her dog bed to be in your room at night. Lulu loves going for car rides and walks well on a leash. So despite her age, she’s not just a couch potato. She enjoys meeting new people and making friends wherever she goes. She has shown herself to be potty trained in her foster home, despite a history of imperfection in a home that didn’t have that quiet routine we’re hoping to find her. We think she’ll just thrive in that right environment. Lulu is being fostered near Sarasota, Florida, and any interested adopter should consider transportation options before applying. She’s chipped, spayed, heart worm negative, and up to date on shots. And she’s a very good girl.
