Say hello to Lucy Lu! Lucy Lu was rescued by another organization after being hit by a car. They did the vetting protocols and amputated her leg but could not find a home for her and had decided to put her down. We said absolutely not and took her in without a question. She can live with us as long … as it takes to find the right home. Lucy Lu is one year old and weighs 21 lbs. She is so soft and sweet. She is timid when she first meets people and seems to do better with women so you will need to teach her that she is always going to be safe. Lucy Lu is an amazing dog and just wants to lay by her owner’s side. Once adopted she will fly to NEWARK NJ and her adopter will meet her there for pickup to take her home. Lucy Lu is spayed, micro-chipped and up to date on her vaccines. Her lack of a leg does not slow this girl down and she can lead a normal life. She runs with the best of our pups.
