Lovely seniors bonded pair!!!

Introducing a truly special duo – a bonded pair of lovely senior dogs in need of a compassionate home. Eight years ago, we rescued Jethro, a wonderful and friendly dog, just moments before he was scheduled to be euthanized. It was a heartbreaking situation, but he found solace in the love of a … caring family, who also welcomed another sweet soul named Elly Mae into their lives. Elly Mae was facing the same fate but found refuge in this warm and loving home. For many years, they played and cherished their pet parents. However, tragedy struck when one of their owners passed away, and the other was incapacitated due to an accident, making it impossible for them to continue caring for Jethro and Elly Mae. The family, who unfortunately couldn’t take the dogs themselves, reached out to us with a heavy heart. Both dogs, aged 8 and 10, are in excellent health. Jethro weighs 68 pounds, while Elly Mae weighs 56 pounds, and it wouldn’t hurt for them to shed a few pounds. Currently, they are being looked after by their owner’s friends in her home. However, the time has come for the dogs to be relocated. We urgently seek a safe and loving place for them to call home. Jethro and Elly Mae share a beautiful bond and are incredibly friendly. They are potty trained, up to date on all vaccinations, and have tested negative for heartworm. Their previous home provided them with exceptional care and love.
