About London – local lovable gal!

London is a just over 2-year-old, 45-pound Black Mouth Cur/Terrier mix young lady. London has been with her local foster for 5 months now and has come so far with time, routine and a commitment to training. London loves people but we suggest her with only older, dog savvy teens because she can get excited and we don’t want her knocking over little ones with her happy dances! She is crate and house trained (and knows the command “crate”). Now that she is fully acclimated into her foster home they haven’t needed to crate her at all and she has great house manners, of course we always recommend crating at first in a new environment for any new rescue dog. She absolutely loves going for car rides and walks! And she is very good on her leash. London’s foster says she has so many great qualities that even her resident dogs don’t have. She has zero reactivity on walks and in all public places! She is super easy on a leash, great in the car, and she takes her literally everywhere that let dogs come! London would be happiest living as your only dog. She tends to get overstimulated playing with other dogs and can become too much for most. While she isn’t the best candidate for doggie daycare and dog parks, she would love pack walks and love being taken anywhere with anyone. She just is so happy to be with her person, nothing else matters. London also loves toys and is learning to play fetch and is doing awesome letting go of the ball! Her foster shares “I would love for her to be the apple of someone’s eye. She is so attached to me, has to come with me everywhere, and is such I love. I really wish I could keep her but it isn’t the best situation for her. I will be so incredibly sad to see her go – we love her so much! She is happy and thriving. We now only crate her when no one is home. She sleeps on all the beds with everyone, is outside with everyone all the time and I don’t have to watch her like a hawk now. It’s crazy how much time rescues need, but with time and routine London is thriving! I believe her person is out there. She really just needs rules and patience, same as any 2-legged or 4-legged kid does!” All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be. To adopt or learn more about Ren Spring, you must fill out an adoption application. Adoption fee is $495. PLEASE READ: If a dog is listed, then s/he is currently available for adoption. Their information is correct to the best of our abilities and the information we have been given as of the day of posting. Please note, GDRNE does not guarantee the breed of any dog or puppy unless stated that we have run DNA. All breeds listed are educated estimates. Our dogs are rescued from various situations. It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own – a true and adorable American Mutt. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
