Lightning is a 2-year-old German Shepherd mix. She is a sweet, calm, extremely loving girl, who was confiscated from a hoarding situation that led her to the pound, along with her siblings including Jojo. Her DNA test reveals she is 60% German Shepherd with some Lab and golden retriever mix. She is … also cleared of all health risks. Lightning is a highly intelligent, super loving and velcro pup. She loves to follow her foster brother Boomer around. She can be playful but mostly she is a funny girl who enjoys being a part of the pack. She is housebroken and has no destructive tendencies. Lightning is about 56 lbs, has all her shots, and is spayed, micro-chipped and heartworm negative. She is also kept on heartworm and flea preventative. She is being fostered in Texas, but can travel to many states and even Canada. To meet this adorable pup, please send a completed application. Yards must be fully and adequately fenced, to be considered for our pups. We do not accept electric or underground fences. Out-of-town pets are cared for by non-local organizations who can make arrangements for the pet to be transported to your area.
