This handsome two-year-old lab mix Leo has one thing on his mind… getting out of the shelter and into a loving home! When Leo first came to the shelter way back in August he was very confused and timid. He’s still a little shy at first meeting, but warms up quickly with yummy treats and a loving … touch. Leo will thrive in a home that will spend time with him and make him a special member of the family. If you have another dog at home feel free to bring them to the shelter for a meet and greet to see how they get along. Leo is a great medium sized and he’s pretty easygoing out in the yard. He needs someone to rescue him and give him a new start. You have heard the saying, find a penny pick it up, all day long you’ll have good luck! Stop in and grab this gorgeous young’n and make your luck spiral upwards along with his! Can’t adopt but still want to help? Email our foster department at [email protected] and ask about fostering him for a couple weeks to give him a much needed break from the shelter. Leo is already neutered, up to date on vaccinations, micro-chipped and tested negative for heartworms. His adoption fee is $50. We do have a ‘slumber party’ program which allows you to take a dog home before adopting to see if they are a good fit for your family.
