Lady

About Lady

Lady and her three siblings were found at Hagar Park Dec. 20th, two days before Houston was to get a hard freeze. She was a tough cookie at first, protecting the pack from her finder, but with patience, she warmed up and ended up following her rescuer back home along with her brother, Scamp. Since then, she has proven to be such a little lover. Still a puppy, she’s full of energy and loves chasing and catching tennis balls. Lady is also super smart, already understanding the commands ‘go potty’ and ‘no’. She is skittish around other dogs that were not in her original pack, but has such a big heart, it will likely be easy to introduce other dogs once she knows they are not a threat. Lady likes to chase cats, so probably not the best to put her in a home with those furry friends. Based on her size and markings, she is likely a chow mix, but has not exhibited any aggressive behavior. We have not noticed any food aggression, but he has only eaten around Scamp, who she already trusts. She doesn’t mind being pet while she eats either. This girl will make a great edition to any family!!
